Ordering a 2012 Deluxe Cab 3520 tomorrow

Looking ahead at time of purchase, I just didn't like the idea of swapping QDs incessantly. Of my rear SCVs, set #1 is dedicated to the 4-in-1 clamshell cylinders, set #2 is dedicated to the HTL, set #3 is multi-purpose; for whichever of my TPH/towed implements needs hydraulic assist at that particular point in time.

sounds like you have a great setup greg! I wasn't trying to bash or anything.

On your rear 2nd and 3rd scv, where are the solenoid valves located?? i'm waiting for my 3720 deluxe cab to show up and would be interested in adding these options.

I agree on the deluxe cab option, your foolish not too. Its a way better buy for accessories you would want anyways.

I was told on the deluxe cab you get the 1st rear scv factory installed, no other extra hydraulics.??

To the original poster with the 3520 deluxe on order, i'm assuming you will have to run your own lines forward to run a grapple or whatever else?

yes sir, i believe so. I only say this becuase i had a talk with the salesman who is also family of the owner of the place, about fabricating a snow plow up front with some hydraulic cylinders and he was saying that he had a few people do that and ran lines up to front. I always thought you could just run off the loader lines and use the joystick for up and down. I dont know, still over my head and still trying to do more research so i can get more familiar with these machines

greg,

can we get any pics of your 4th and 5th scv on rear of your tractor??

On the build it option on deere website they show the kit for the 4x20's but not the 3x20's.

I'd like to know more about this....

thanks!

Not sure about your definition of 4th & 5th. As I stated above I've got 3 sets in the rear. They're fed by preformed (factory) steel lines that come off a 2nd electro-hydraulic device beneath the right side of the cab door. There's a pair of those devices there; one feeds forward (FEL), one feeds aft (rear QDs). They're both controlled by the joystick, and I switch back and forth between front and rear with a dipswitch on the cab console.

ok you have a diverter system, that makes sense.

They usually call the front ones 1st and second, and the first one at the back is the "3rd scv". The next two are "fourth and fifth".

I see they make a true fourth and fifth kit for the 4x20 series. Diverters do the job as well though.

thanks!
