Ordering my B2650 tomorrow or Tuesday, last minute advice?

I believe the pin adjustable telescoping links are standard on Cab but optional on ROPS models. I'm not sure how it'd work with a back hoe setup but I went with a LP Quick Hitch along with a Titan ballast box which work well together, actually the QH puts the ballast box rearward a few extra inches which gives it more of a fulcrum effect. And switching rear implements is MUCH easier with the Quick Hitch. If you don't plan on getting a Quick Hitch definitely get the pin adjustable links.

I think it is the thumb that makes the backhoe into a more versatile tool.
We had a standard 3pt backhoe for decades and it was only used for digging. We would mount it on the tractor to use a couple times a year - sometimes a trench to bury a line, and sometimes to plant a tree.

When we bought our last tractor (2006) it was a demo and came with a thumb. Frankly, If the thumb hadn't come on the tractor already, I probably wouldn't have thought to add it.
Now I wouldn't have one without a thumb. We use it for everything. It even holds logs up in the air to chainsaw them.
We are about as likely to fire up the tractor to use the long strong backhoe arm with the thumb to lift and place something than for any other tractoring reason except maybe using the loader bucket to haul tools....

A combo BH/thumb and FEL with SSQA sure makes things easier on an older guy's back. And that's makes it worth the money right there.
