You REALLY need to look around/ask about who the local bearing shops are. For example - Everybody in the Twin Cities knows about Toll Bearing and Gopher Bearing. If they don't have it, you are likely hosed.

Got to thinking, there has to be some kind of tool to help install the race's.... finally found some. Going to take the units I pulled out to see if I can do a prefit so I know I'm getting something that would fit perfectly.

Now, I won't have to beat on it!!!

Then when you get the numbers write them in your manual for future
reference

Bit of an update (I can only tinker with this on Saturdays....)

Today, I had off as I had a Dr's visit so removed another wheel and I THINK we've finally figured out all the numbers.

Bearing is a Timkin L44645 and the race is L44613. Did an Amazon lookup and as a pair, looks like it's $159.

I've been to two tractor locations (Kubota dealer and John Deere dealer) I've been to four auto parts locations.... so far it's been unobtainium. This was looking for the Race only. Guy at NAPA pulled out two books came up empty. Finally suggested I go to BDI here in town. I think they're called Bearings Direct or something.... called them.

He FINALLY helped clarify things (but couldn't help me)

He said the Race had three versions, L44610 (which is too small and what was sent to me), then "mine", L44613 and then I suppose a slightly larger size, L44615. (shrugs shoulders)

I finally emailed Timkin themselves to see what they have to say BUT, looks like I might have found what I need on Amazon now that I have all the right numbers.

Just hoping I can find them for less than $150. The one I pulled out looks fine. I dipped it into some cleaner but haven't really cleaned it up yet.... I have 5 others. I don't want to spend that much on bearings if I can find them for less..... but it seems I've at least found them so I've got a safety net.

So the Timkin numbers confirm the listing I posted above, you might try some of those numbers in a general search.
Rock Auto has a listing for them, but out of stock, you might hit the notify me link for when they get them in again.
For pressing bearing races I mostly use sockets; between std and metric all the way up to 3/4" drive I can usually find close to the right diameter.

Found a lot of 5 bearings for $75 on Ebay. Guy has 105 of them. Checking the race now.

Races are around $50 plus shipping! Some listings are in the UK of a set under $150 with shipping on Ebay.
I gave it a shot.

I googled bearing suppliers in Knoxville (based on your profile location) and Motion Industries popped up amongst others. They supply bearings, belts, motors, couplings, ect. I have bought from them here in the lower mainland of southern B.C. I believe the local branch here ships as well. At work, a lot of material was couriered to site.

When you get it fixed ensure you have a way to grease them and do so often.
