Coming from someone who calls himself Ductape this statement is disappointing :(

I figure one, maybe two rolls and this bota will be good as new:)

They sold it tonight for $6500. It will need some work.

I would think by the time they get the parts bought it is going to cost them as much as a new one would. And that is if they don't value their time and the fact they have a wrecked machine. I wonder if a dealer bought it in which case they would get better prices on parts.

It would be a fun project if parts were more affordable.

Looks like the makings of a Kubota Limousine!!

I would hesitate at anything over $1000. $6500! They must have stopped by the medical marijuana place before bidding, several times.

I would admit that $6500 sounds high. but then we don't know the buyer's purpose. If he/she owns a tractor salvage business, they stole it. For example, what would you give for individual pieces off this chassis?? What's the loader worth? What's the rear tires worth? The wheels? The engine? The rear axle assembly? See how this $6500 tractor could turn into a $15000 tractor with a little patience and a buyer market. I'm guessing the guy is elated at his purchase.

Even if you wanted to fix it, probably the only thing needing fixed is the hogshead assembly area where it broke. There's not much holding a tractor together at that point. That's why they break there.

Watch for this 'parted out' tractor to show up on ebay. It would not surprise me.

They might be looking at it to part it out but I would be surprised as there doesn't seem like a huge market for these parts right now.

I think there is a lot more damage then you realize. Hopefully the engine block isn't cracked but looking at the front wheel it appears it took a shot so how much damage happened to the axle, steering assembly and the axle mount. You also have to wonder if there is any damage to the rear housing as this tractor didn't just split, it was ripped in half. It took a lot of force to do this damage and I am curious just how fast the car was going when it hit it. If whoever bought this tractor plans on repairing it then I hope they inspected it first.
