Here's the latest update.
My parents don't want the cat because they would have to keep it in indoors until they can make it back out here. I told them that if they do that, it would ruin it for us, as we don't want an indoor cat.
They called the airlines and found two flights to Tyler. One lands at 3:30 pm and the other lands at 8:30pm. The later flight would be better for them since it leaves at noon. Unfortunately, the airport cargo area closes at 6pm and I wouldn't be able to pick up the cat until the next day. The earlier flight leaves at 4am!!!!! It's one and a half hours for them to drive to the airport one way!!!!!!!!!
They are not happy.
Then to really make them wish that they hadn't stole our cat, the airline requires a shot record of the cat. Since it was a stray that we took in, we haven't taken her to the vet yet. So it cost them $90 to get her shots.
They REALLY are not happy.
But I think they learned their lesson. Don't steal the cat!!!!
I'm going to wait for the kids tog home from school, and we'll go to the airport to get Socks then. It should be fun for them.
I still don't know what the flight costs, but I'm not so dumb as to make fun of them for that too until it's a done deal. hahaha
