Out House on the go........

I started out with a wicker chair without the wicker. We then graduated up to a throne without an enclosure. Just an out.......without the house.

My neighbor took sympathy on us and donated his field outhouse that we have used for the last 15 years.

Now we have a genuine in door, spec porcelein closet and we are definetly sh.....g in high cotton. A well designed tank and drain field to boot! No stinking permits tho.

Camp life is great! The ladies love the new modern facilities, but you know..... I never have to get out the plunger for the outhouse and the water line never freezes. There is somthing to be said about simplicity.

Great news. I had 30-40 people up at my property this weekend making use of the new outhouse. Nobody fell in, no flys (yet), no offensive smells (yet), nobody getting splinters on the back of their knees, no complaints, and best of all nobody walking around pooing in the bushes and leaving TP messes. It's one thing if they know how to use a shovel but they don't.

I took some pics of the VIP latrine and will put them up tonight.

Oh and I bought a sack of fine lime at the hardware store. It was the kind you use for soil and I was surprised that it was not chalk white.

I had one sister in law call her mother from within the ashaus on a cell phone asking where the TP was. Look in the coffee can you blonde.
