out of print manuals

Where do you all get manuals for tractors and implements that are out of print? Id prefer to get an OEM manual as opposed to the sort of generic I&T style. I currently need a repair manual for a MF 725 mower/conditioner.

BTW I did look on ebay and all of the used places I could find via a google. search.

Go to local antique tractor shows, there are a few locals here in Md that make their living buying and selling old tractor and implement manuals. Have you tried your AGCO/MF dealer? I know that most of the tractor manuals are still available, and the dealer price is generally cheaper than reprints available at places like Jensales. Also, try this question over at ytmag or the old allis page, someone there might have what you need!

Here is a place that has a factory operators manual. It may have what you are needing. I don't know anything about them nor have I ever done business with them. Massey Ferguson 725, 925 Haytender Mower Conditioner

I saw this and did email them about the service manual. I might wind up getting the operator guide from them as the reprint from dealer doesnt have very good pics.

Try SSB Tractor (www.ssbtractor.com). I just got a manual for a NH 278 baler from them. Their search page says "tractor manuals" but if you put in the make and model it will find whatever they have.

I recently got a manual for a JD 214T baler from those guys. Fast delivery, reasonable price ($25 plus $5 shipping) and the manual was an original in good condition.
