Still, garages should be used to store your most valuable vehicles, not for hoarding junk like some people do. I would be ashamed to open my garage door to the street if it was full of hoarded junk.

That's the nice thing about living outside of town. Nobody's around to see what's in your garage. Not that I care what anyone thinks about how I choose to live. I use my garage anyway I care to see fit to use it. It's a shame some people get so worked up about what others think.

Not my "rule". Only a suggestion. A couple of people around here with bad hail damage to their cars were lamenting that they couldn't shelter their cars because the garage was being used for junk. THEIR FAULT! Get a dumpster is what I will say if they complain to me.

It doesn’t hurt a regular daily driver vehicle to sit outside. It’s nicer to park inside in the rain or snow but aside from that it really doesn’t help much. My garage tends to accumulate stuff that gets relocated in the winter. There’s a big difference in stuff and junk. I don’t tend to hoard useless crap I’ll never need again. My equipment except my Grasshopper that hasn’t found a home yet all stays inside. I’ll put it somewhere in the winter, but currently it’s seeing 2 days a week service so it’s not worth the effort to store it. I feel better about leaving it outside though.
