It took me forever but the pizza oven finally has a roof.

The frame is oak - after many years I done some real joinery again - purlins are just pine. I mocked the roof with 2x6 to match the pitch of the barn.

Good point :) It is a nice thing to have but we use it for special occasions usually.

It takes two to three hours to heat up and pizza is done in like 7 minutes. I typically have bread and/or meat ready too to utilize the heat.

Looks great! It may even heat up a bit quicker, now that you have a roof to keep things dry.

I love mine and have had it covered and insulated since I first built it.
