Over run with mice

I'd scour every nook and cranny of your basement, around the sill, the windows and doors for any cracks or crannies where they can get in and plug them with steel wool....If they're deep cracks ..plug them with steel wool and foam insullation...then set traps.

I had lots of mice soon after construction was complete and took these steps...they (the mice) all live outside now.

Those look like Deer Mice.

Deer Mice can carry the deadly HantaVirus. Have you had any Hantavirus cases in the area you are in?? IF you are in France, they might not have that virus.

Sorry, never heard of the virus. Mice are mostly a nuisance because of the food stuff they eat or spoil in my cupboards.
