the QD style won't fit all tractors.. ive seen a few where the pto flange protrudes enough to prevent it on some ORC designs.

I do like the the build of the QD style better and having the ability to easily remove them if need be, but some times after a bit of rusting they can be a bugger to press in to release, actually have to spray pent oil and tap them back-n-forth to free it up, and then the down side to having spray with oil they become more susceptible to releasing them self once the spring weakens,
I'm sure it would be advisable to remove either kind every once in a while just so's they don't rust them self up, If not completely remove it at least remover the Zerks and drive the pin Half way through and back in again, this will help prevent it from becoming stuck if ever you do find need to remove or replace it,
