I think you did the right thing, NOT shutting down imediately. Turbo or not, lower the load and rpm, but keep it running (which you did) and see if it cools down. Imediate shutdown might have damaged the turbo. With a turbo every shutdown should have a minute or two at idle for cool down, not moment. I think you kept your COOL when your tractor did not. :thumbsup:
