Kubota just came in with a much better price. Didn't expect that.L4400 HST with the 92 BH, and FEl and 6ft rotary mower PHD and scrapper for 37gs

I think you will really like a 1643, that's what i would choose.

Murpy, That new price you were quoted sounds very reasonable. Especially if the quote was from the same dealer as the original. He the dealer does deserve to make a profit.

Nothing wrong with an L4400 but your full list price DK40 in your first post was cheaper... Maybe for your usage it doesn't matter but I'd rather have the extra loader capacity and weight of a DK over the L4400. So that's what I bought. Plus the rear remote, SSQA, grill gaurd, and complete 3ph system with draft control and a drawbar is extra on the kubota.
I think if you talk to a few Kioti dealers and wait a bit, you should be able to get a DK40 with a backhoe for under $30K. One will decide its time to sell a tractor one day and offer decent price to you.

These are both reliable quality machines. The DK has more 'lux features and weight. If you have driven/operated both then go for the one you feel most comfortable with. If you haven't driven them you really should. Spec sheets don't tell the whole story. Dealer choice is also an important factor to work into the calculus.

Go try them all, including the 1643. Specs are nice and important when deciding what to buy but nothing replaces @** in the seat time to make your final decision. You wouldn't buy a car at these prices where the head room was inadequate or you couldn't get your legs comfortable inside the car, same applies here. It's worth doing before making any decision.

Mike's right, before I bought I not only sat in different tractors, but also operated them. Once you do that the field will narrow.
