Re: Owned Kub\'s X 17 yrs, NO MORE! Getting a JD!

In almost any forum other then TBN or CBN, he would indeed be labled as a troll. I never cared for the term troll nor do I care for people whinning or complaining. Joe is voicing is dissatifaction with his situation but ignores all the whinning and complaining that is just as rampant in other forums including JD. If your simply upset and letting us know it, we understand. If you think all your issues will be gone by going to another manufactuer, your going to be rather unhappy person. I have to agree with DevilDog. I would not go to any forum and talk about how I'm jumping ship, I'd just do it. YOu will find there is not much sympathy for folks complaining here, ask Ramon 49. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif He pretty much got hammered, much of it his own doing. The other problem is from reading your post is we have no clue as to how much of the repair problems were yours. Suffice it to say, any MMM mowing 5 acres twice a week with 2000 hours on it is going to be in less then new condition. Good luck with your Deere MMM doing much better then that. Now I would suggest you consider going to the Deere forum and telling us how great it is. I won't rain on your parade and tell you about my experience with a JD front deck ZTR I have. While the parts are available, the cash to repair it is not. It's not perfect, believe me.

Re: Owned Kub\'s X 17 yrs, NO MORE! Getting a JD!

I am not a troll. Where am I bashing Kubota? I have been a proud Kubota owner longer than most on this forum. I need a MMM for my property and I am VERY upset that Kubota cannot accomodate me in suuporting a still good machine that is not very old. Anyone who thinks I am out of line for feeling this way or saying so on this forum, IMHO, does not really understand what customers like me want from a manufacfturer and, furthermore, does not understand the purpose of a forum such as this. BTW, I invite anyone to call their Kubota dealer tomorrow and ask what kind of MMM is available for a B7100HST and you'll see this is not a fabrication. Could I make my deck work? Yeah, but I've been doing that for the last two years and decided enough is enough when I started my search for a new deck. I am going to JD not because it is a better tractor, I doubt that it is, but I do know they will support their product and, yeah, I'm pissed at Kubota and wanted to let others know about it. I do not post on the JD forum and never will and my post belongs on this forum so, hopefully enough Kubota owners can put enough pressure on the company to change their product support policy so others of you do not get in the situation I am in. Anyway, this is not my kind of a place judging by some of these responses, so I'm gone for good. Happy Father's Day!

"Not all they're cracked up to be in terms of quality and reliability (current and past deck problems aside) and numerous components are very fragile such as radiator cover, seats and electrical system. Neither of my tractors had funtioning lights beyond about a month and the crap attatchments for the rear lights on the fender are a joke with the little plug in wires."

Enjoy your new JD!

I have a 60 in MMM mower that fits a 93 B7100 Hst with loader. Proper price the mower is for sale as I have no use for it at the moment.

Re: Owned Kub\'s X 17 yrs, NO MORE! Getting a JD!

Joe, That is what Im talking about. You came on here make a post about kubotas ("Owned Kub's X 17 yrs, NO MORE! Getting a JD!") and then say Im gone. Not good and just seems supicious.

Although I am not familiar with your tractor and your profile is not filled out but I asked earlier if a rear mount finish mower would work. That would solve the problem and save some money. I also dont think you are outta line for how you feel but didnt like the way you went about it.

You might give Carver Equipment a call and see if they can help you or point you in the right direction. Great bunch of people there.
Take care and Happy Fathers day, Jim

Re: Owned Kub\'s X 17 yrs, NO MORE! Getting a JD!

Some people don't have the social skills needed to interact with others in a positive way. They don't know how to be positive and make friends, so they get attention the only way they know how-by making enemies. It's interesting. You have made a total of three posts. Rather than going to the JD forum and introducing yourself and trying to make friends, what do you do instead? You come over here to the Kubota forum, where you do not know a single person, and unload all your anger about Kubota. None of us sold you your tractor. If you have issues, go solve them with the individuals with whom you have them. Why should you come over here and unload all this negativity and then expect to be greeted positively. IMHO, you've been treated much better than you deserve in this forum so far. You didn't come in asking for help; you just wanted to come in, unload your anger, and see if you could get a rise out of everyone. So what is the emotional payoff for you? What does this do for you? You still haven't made any posts in the JD forum. You're like some guy who divorces his wife and gets engaged to someone else. Then, instead of cultivating the new relationship, you get more fun outta going back to argue not only with the ex-wife, but to see how many fights you can pick with other members of her family. (Am I getting you mad yet? But then, that IS what you really want isn't it, to make us mad and see if we could make you mad in return?) Along with shopping around for your new JD, you might want to consider shopping around for a good therapist in your area too. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Re: Owned Kub\'s X 17 yrs, NO MORE! Getting a JD!

I have a borther-in-law that is just like him. Really just wants to fight. I have now learned to just ignore all his e-mails and that has put a hault to his "Nasty-Grahms"

He is so unrealistic in his thoughts and feelings it will never be possible to have a civil thread with him involved.

Sorry to see you turn Green, Orange is such a good color.....

( Went to order a new MMM for the tractor and NONE are available and Kubota no longer makes them! No other MMM is compatible! )

I'm not at work right now to confirm this, but I am pretty sure this is not true. There is a seperate section of the pricing book for implements for discotinued models.
