OK, Dean, I didn't know they issued titles for those either, but it sounds like a good idea to me.

Tractors aren't titled in arkansas but atv are.
boats are not titled just issued a registration number BUT the trailers are??
I kind of wish they did title tractors and boats it shows ownership without doubt. you would think that as greedy as the gov't is they would just to squeeze a few more bucks from us! /forums/images/graemlins/smirk.gif

I asked my dealer for a Certificate of Origin for my L48, which he got from Kubota and sent to me in a matter of weeks. It seems like a good thing to have.

Just as a follow up thought...
If getting a title for a tractor is possible in your state, you still may not wish to do so.
I had similar concerns back when I got my first tractor, and posted a question about it here. TBN members convinced me that there was little to gain by getting a title, but much to lose possibly. I foget the details, but there were issues like possible need for a license plate if the titled tractor was run on a road, insurance issues, and so on.
After hearing all the arguments against getting a title, I wrote that idea off pretty fast.

After a call to the Dealer again, I find out Kubota has called them twice wanting a copy of the original invoice faxed to them.
Seems like the Dealer had just not found the time to go to the files and do just that. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif
I really must admit this is not a surprise to me considering what all has occurred with this particular Dealer.
