AMEN!!!

It's amazing how dependent one can become on a tool. I am so glad I was blessed with mine. Helps me get a lot more done and better than by hand.

AND... She thinks my tractors sexy.....😁

Small tractor was my first. The YM2000 and then I double the size with the
Ford 2000. The Yanmar is my FM pretty much and the Wooded area is what the 63 Ford FEL. is used for. Old as I am and seen it on CL. All intact with correct Era FEL.. I had to do a split and other things but I glad I did it and put it all back in working order.
No matter what I never rely on just a Hyd. jack. I always use Jack stands. Esp. when I Am servicing the mowers. I don't rely on just the Hyd. Lift. I've had no choice before but I make it quick if I'm under something. I'll use all 4 with 1 on each wheel and the 3Pt. still holding it up. The couple minutes to set them is worth it knowing your pretty safe. Still don't mean you can't have problem though.

One of the reasons I bought a hydraulic lift table was to make unloading heavy things easier from the pickup. My problem was the table weighed 180 lbs. I needed a lift table to get it out.

Loader tractor came to the rescue. I unboxed and assembled it while on the forks. Easy-peasy.

I had a similar situation as the OP a year or so back, my riding mower quit running in the middle of my back yard. So I went in with my tractor and picked up the whole thing (love having forks for the FEL also!) and carried it around and into my garage to work on it.

Turned out to be just a stuck carb linkage, but it sure was handy to be able to carry it over to where the tools were.

My philosophy is... One tractor is good, two are always better.... Especially when both are identical models...
Agreed. 6+ acres. 2 MF2607 at 65PTO HP plus a GC2310 and a GC1725m.
They don't get many hours but it's always nice to have.

I'm 78 and use mine for things I never thought of before I bought it. Like yesterday, I needed to mount a new 75 lb motor on an old chipper/shredder. My brother was busy, so I used the bucket to lift it, and wiggled it into position. Dug holes in New England glacial soils to bury pets that passed and moved 6 in of ice at the driveway entrance the snow plows left, etc...

Just yesterday in a town in S. Indiana, a 16 yr old boy was working under his Ford truck held up with a jack. The jack failed and the boy was killed. He was not using jack-stands.
The son of one if my parent's employees was killed when his vehicle fell on him. The cinder blocks he was using to support it failed. Yet I still see people using them. I once brought my neighbor some hemlock blocks but he declined them. "If cement blocks will hold up a mobile home they will hold up a car."
