I've put up a web site with pictures of my place in Central Pennsylvania. We took the pictures about a week ago.
Enjoy: http://personal.jax.bellsouth.net/jax/h/m/hmccrear/web/Pennsylvania/PennsylvaniaHomePage.html

You've got a beautiful place Henry -- and I like the presentation on your website.

is the bridge yours?

I wish it was! The covered bridge is a few miles down the road from our place. We drive by it all the time. I don't know all the facts around covered bridges, but there are very few (like less than 20) left standing in the US.

Henry,
Central PA ? Me too! I am in the Williamsport area. No covered bridges here.

Williamsport, what a great area. I used to come to that area to service machines at Coopers in Muncy, PA. Always seemed like a great place no matter what time of year I visited.

Henry,

Great looking pics!

I used to live in PA. Near Hershey. Used to hunt in Reeds Gap area. I have verticle topography withdrawl here in Illinois!

Hunting is pretty good at my place. On a good day we count more deer and turkey than people.... Just the way it otta-be.

Nice pics Henry.

I love the leaves on the ground.

Something we don't get much of over here.

All our gum leaves look brown and boring.

Cheers

Henry,

Those are some awesome pictures!! /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

Reminds me of many weekend trips cruising Central PA to visit friends at State College.

Thanks,

The property is very close to State College (or Happy Valley as it's known by Penn Stater's).

Go Jo-Pa !

Henry, Will the new 99 Corridor affect your area?

No, we're in Huntingdon County so I don't think we're affected. Since I'm only a part-time resident I'm not too familiar with what's going on with I-99. Doesn't it run the length of the old PA route 220 that runs from Bedford -to- Altoona -to- I-80 ?

I believe the 99 corridor starts at Pittsburg & runs through State College and Williamsport to Corning Ny, connecting 220 & Rt 15 to 17

Good ol' PA roads....

When the heck are they going to finish 219?? Sure would be nice have that completed from I68 going north.
