Yeah, usually it's the I-5 corridor north of Woodland that gets impacted by this stuff but looks like it really might hammer I-84.

Wx map I saw this morning coming into the PNW didn't look wide enough to produce that much rain. We are only expecting enough to clear the air and dampen down the dust a bit. East side of state (Spokane) set the record for most days in a row without measurable precip - 80 days. Old record was 79 and it was way back somewhere around the turn of last century.

Maybe there is hope. Wx forecast says rain in the Spokane area this coming Thursday & Friday - if we don't all burn down before then.

Got back from camping at Mt. Rainier today just as the rain started in Olympia..
