4 years, no special pampering, never waxed, paint is just fine. In fact it seems really durable because mine goes through bushes and gets scraped and wacked by branches all the time with hardly a scratch on it.

I took a few pics on my cell phone and I am going to stop by the dealer to let them take a look at it to see what they have to say about it. I never had a problem with the paint on my other jd tractor either. I will for sure make them see that it is fixed. I will keep everyone posted on this and thanks for your replys.

yes, I would push for a warranty issue. Is it flaking off or delaminating or bubbling up?
I've learned that Maguires plastic polish is great for bringing back weathered hood and fenders to that shiny new finish again. I use it with a soft buffing pad attached to my cordless drill. Works wonders.

Well I stopped at the dealer today and he looked at the pics and he said he would have a new fender in about 2 weeks. It is flaking off at the edge its about the size of a half doller side by side. I have not waxed it yet I only have 6 hours on it. I normally use black diamond polish on the plastic parts. Will keep everyone informed on the progress.
