Pallet fork suggestions

I want to take advantage of the sale Titian has going on right now and I'm wondering if these forks are a good choice for my MX4800. I read something about buying forks with built in rollback once I know these dont have any.

I've got 42" forks. For general use (not just pallets) I wouldn't want them any shorter.

Everyone has their preference but make sure the 36 inch is long enough to pick up the pallets or packages your using. Many pallets in use today are very light and poor construction. Some prefer the shorter forks cause of operating in tight spaces.

That's fine but what about the tilt deal are your built that way or like these?

I believe mine are 42 as well but never measured them, they came with the tractor, very useful tool and a very useful size, idk about 36in though, would be interesting on a loaded pallet.

I agree you should get either the 42 or 48" forks and nothing shorter.
I don't have additional rollback but have not needed any more rollback than I get with the loader curl.
Lots of people here seem to be very satisfied with Titans.

I'm not 100% sure I know what you mean, but I think I do. You're asking if my fork tines are perpendicular to my SSQA plate, right? If so, I'm not sure. They're close, but might have some rollback built in. I'm not sure about your loader, but the LA844 on my MX has a fairly wide range of dunno action. I can tilt the bucket way down or way back. I can't say as I've ever wished for more rollback on my forks, but I can see if they've got any built in. I have a set of Construction Attachment forks, by the way.

Like these, grandpa has the construction forks on his too with the additional roll back built in and you can tilt them suckers waaay back.

i drove to Memphis last month and bought a set of 48 in forks on sale. great deal and i have been using them.

they are perpendicular to the back plate and could sure use a few more degrees of tilt- but i still love em.
