pallet forks

Was looking for pallet forks to fit a b7800 kubota. Do not really want the paynes. Would like to have a lite set to fit quick attach. Don't know if they even make for the compacts. Thanks also great site.

If all you are interested in is QC forks (not grapples, and other qc things), Kubota has both an inexpensive qc adapter, and a set of forks that will fit your B7800.

Caveat: I am completely unfamiliar with your tractor model.

That said, I use a set of Bradco quick attach (essentially the same as universal skid steer attachment system) om my 5030 with the Kubota QA system.

They are well made, very easy to mount/dismount, strong, and I use them very often. I would buy them again in an instant without thinking of looking at another brand. They are probably one of the handiest tools I have.

I've been getting prices for the Kubota setup at right around $1000 while pricing a new tractor. There is another company called ATI out of PA that sells them, and I hear that setup may be a little more expensive, but I'm not positive as I haven't gotten prices on theirs.

I'm working on a quick-on/off plow attachment and this is how I intend to hold it on the FEL. Very ingenious. I'm avoiding welding anything to my bucket...haven't even worked up the gumption to drill holes for a toothbar.

I have a B7800 and purchased the Kubota Quick Coupler in the last month or so. It only took 20-30 minutes to install as you just remove the pins from the loader arms and reinsert in the adapter. It came with pins to fit and convert the original bucket. It's a pretty basic design and cost under $250 from the dealer. Most of the skid steer attachments are too heavy for my tractor anyway, so the Kubota solution is sized right and priced reasonable.

I plan to make up my own pallet fork carrier. It will be a multimount for some adapted forklift forks, a boom pole, receiver hitch for moving trailers, etc. Eventually I'll get an old 6.5ft snow blade from a rusty Jeep and convert it too.

My loader pins measure "just" under 1" dia and the layout is pretty simple. Making your own modifications should be easy if you have existing equipment. Some heavy angle iron for the channel where the arms seat and schedule 40 pipe for bushings should do the trick.

Thanks all for the replys, I have the kubota quick attach already. I am having a hard time finding the forks, would like the kind that attaches like my bucket. Can't seem to find the ones that are narrow enough to fit my arms.

As noted by bandit67, ATI makes them. If you download the 2007 catalogue @ www.preseeder.com you will find their pallet fork frames on page 30. They list a frame for the 402 loader, order code 305-007-000.

Looks like you can get a set weighing in under 200 lbs. I'm pretty sure they are over $1000 though.

Gearmore sells quick-attach forks that fit the Kubota. Sometimes you see these listed as skidsteer implements. I think they may be made by Bradco, as Gearmore has some other accessories that say "made by Bradco".

Since you already have the Kubota pin-type QA, your only option is the Kubota pallet forks. They can be had for $750 & up from a Kubota dealer. If your local dealer is too expensive, check in with one of the dealers that posts on TBN - they should be able to help.

I too have a B7800. This setup has proven itself over and over. I leave the forks on all winter to haul in firewood. I have loaded tires plus a 500 lb box on the back and still can raise the back tires off the ground. I am amazed at what it will lift. It is nice to be able to unload a pallet off the trailer and deliver where you need it. Also very handy in the wooods for moving brush and small trees.
