The set at the top right are the ones I have and my loader is just a bit weaker than yours. I have not been disappointed, but with a lighter set I probably would have junked them already. Each fork is rated for 3700# so they are way over built for my needs but have plenty of resale options that way. I wanted 42 inch forks but my dealer only carries the 48. Now let me tell you why you want the 48 inch forks.

In most cases I can see the tip of my forks from the seated position. But depending on angle and steepness of ground every now and then I have to stand and keep my knee in the seat to bypass the safety switch with my other foot on the HST pedal to see what I am doing. With the shorter forks this would happen more often. I also dont think it would be possible with a gear machine.

We went with a 48" generic brand recommended by my dealer that handles 3500 pounds, we use the on our 5740 and 8540. My brother thought he would go with 42" ones for his CK27, but after using mine got the 48" but a lighter duty. We really appreciate the extra reach. Now I can't say 42" won't work, just that 48" works well for us.

I bought the 48" from pallet forks.com they delivered them to my address for free noncommercial address. It's only 3 pieces. Two forks and the back plate. Unstrap the pallet and you can Handel each price by hand into back of pickup.

I have the Construction Attachments as well They are a standard frame with the heavy lift forks 5500 lb rating they are built very well. I would probably go for the heavier model if you can stand the weight less chance you will bend a tip while you are doing something other than lifting pallets. I managed to bend the tip of mine when i got it pinned under a dumpster and tried to roll back it was in a 2 point bend which acted like a lever arm and provided probably north of 7000 lbs of force
