I don't have a loader on my tractor but I use the forks on the skidsteer a good bit. Don't know how I'd get along without them. Can you see the end of your forks from sitting in the seat? I've been reading lately about some folks with loader cameras sounds like a great idea. I don't need a camera on the skid steer but have thought about one on my backhoe if I was doing some kind of critical close in work with it.

I got a Titan tree puller and been happy with it. Good folks to deal with.

I have a set of their over the bucket forks and they are high quality and were shipped fast. Easy company to deal with and pretty good pricing.

I stand up on the tractor and I can see the fork tips. The real forklift has the worst visibility of all. I guess that is the price you pay for a 4 ton lift capacity in a lawnmower sized package.

I can't see my tips even standing unless they're a good distance above grade. Never had that issue on any of the forktrucks I've run at various jobs over the years. You could always stick your head to the side and look through or around the mast. I can't see through the hood or loader arms no matter how I wiggle from the operator platform.

I plan on doing a loader cam for this very reason. I can pick stumps and even smaller logs and rocks with the grapple, but the fork tips are elusive.

If I'm not lifting heavy stuff I've been known to put my forks off center to to one side a bit so I could lean around and see the tip of one fork

My tractor's wide enough, getting them at the very ends still means I have to hop off to get a peek. R4 fronts that are roughly 30" tall and 11" wide "make a better door than a window" as my dad used to say. :)

I have the same forks, within 15 minutes of Fed Ex dropping them off,I was using them

I have their 3pt forks and also very well made for the price. I think they are a better option than a carry all as you can adjust the width etc. I also have front q/a Bradco forks but find I use the 3pt ones more.

I think the second "accessory/implement" I bought (after a 3pt trailer mover) was a 3 pt forks from Agrisupply.

WELL worth the $$ spent, I've used it fully on 3 tractors.

That's great. I found all kind of uses for mine like moving plows around into the shop for repairs and upkeep. When moving equipment from one job to another just load everything onto the trailer and go.

I found these folks easy to get in touch with so far and will call on them when I need something. I,m using a rock bucket borrowed from my cousin and need to purchase my own but Titan don't have one. I'm hoping they will start carrying them before I make a purchase and see what they have to offer. I use my equipment lightly as mostly upkeep around the property and the jobs I mentioned are clearing trees and brush and fence lines for family and friends. Don't do anything commercial just play.

For repairs and building small things a 140amp - 160amp mig welder will get you by. Maybe even smaller and you can go online and get enough info on how to get started. With a mig welder you don't have to learn how to strike an arc and what amperage to set it's usually in a chart right on your welder what to set. Of course it's not real simple but you just put the wire gun close and pull the trigger and ease along. It won't take long before you're able to do a descent job and practicing is fun anyway. Good luck

I find my door chart runs a little cold. The door chart is just a suggestion not a set in stone measurement.

You're absolutely right it's not set in stone. Just a general range of where to start to get your adjustments right. I envy those that can really weld. reeltime there's good info on the welding section on this forum but myself I'm a weld a lot and grind more type :) so I just read and try to learn.

Hate to hear that. Wear those safety goggles when out working around those limbs, always something flying around.
