Need some forks.Any good recommendations for clamp on forks will help.I see them priced from about$89.00 to over $450.00 for clamp on's.A 1000# limit is fine but I don't want poor quality. What are you guys using?.Also looked at QA forks, would be nice but pricey. Thanks for the info.
Found these on the web anyone have em?

Do you have welding skills?

If so you can build your own in one afternoon for less than $50. I offer free plans to anyone who wants them. Just PM me with your real email address. I have built 6 sets myself and have given out plans to over 250 TBNers. A complete thread describing construction can be found by doing a search here.

I had a 3 point carry-all sitting around and welded a pair of "wings" onto it that allow me to pick it up with my QA FEL. Works pretty well, but is not width adjustable. I made the lift points from some 3" channel steel I had. I set the angled plates at 45 degrees from the vertical. I cut the hole in the bottom one for the lock pin by first scoring the lines with a circular saw, then turning my welder up to about 300 amps and blowing through it along the shallow cuts using a small diameter rod. It ain't pretty, but it worked very well.
