Pallets in fields

Sir, I am the last person who would discourage scientific inquiry. The fact that the pallets constitute two sides of a triangle does not constitute a theory, but rather an empirical observation that must be accounted for by a scientific theory. That fact would be irrelevant if we observed the inverted V pallet formation with no base. That evidence has not been forthcoming. The fact that a pictogram depicts an inverted V pattern is interesting, However, correlation does not prove causation. Steve

Actually, I'm of the mind that the pallets DON'T constitute two sides of a triangle. The intent was the inverted V. Should we excuse and obscure the obvious, and acquiesce that we simply don't understand the sign? Steve, you rock, you add humor and intelligence to what would be an otherwise loco thread.

I have yet to gravitate toward any specific faction... as that would be evidentially premature. I do concur with Steve with respect to the lack of proof presented of an inverted V pallet formation NOT requiring a foundation.

Beyond that... the newly concocted 'X' faction borders on ridiculous. Are we to believe that only half of the formation is visible and it is the half that requires a base? Carrying that forward, then we are to accept the invisible part is just the other 'half' and not much more? Please, please, let's stick to knowns. :detective:

If it helps you, you can image the X in past tense. Image that the aliens separated the upper portion of the X from the lower portion of the X. What was then an upper portion of the X is now inverted, placed nearby and mimics the lower portion of the X.

Okay I am trying to follow along... then what then do you presume is the present status of the V that we can't see? We seem to be exploring the concept of 'faith' here.

Congratulations, Steve. You had the 500th post on this insanity. You win a pallet load of air.

Yes but....we cannot see what's above the inverted V so you have to accept that it is invisible so that also becomes a known

I have been studying some of the challenges presented here and have found flaws! The challenge of placing feed bags upon the earth and then picking them up with loader forks in particular has many flaws. 1 the material the bags are made of is not specified, 2 the consistency of the earth at the point of placement is not specified. Without this vital information the experiment cannot be accurately assessed. Another variable that has not been discussed has been the placement of the pallets. Theory's about landing zones cannot be accurately ascertained without a schematic of the placement of same pallets. The X theory could be correct if upon inspection and by sighting across the pallets in a normal fashion at the correct coordinates and altitude indeed an X may be visible. I do feel some members have taken this complex mystery lightly indeed some may actually be joking about their theory and jeopardizing the articulate finite outcome of the investigation. Please refrain from making unscrupulous comments about the pertinacious facts.
Thank You

Tiller Tillers; Why buy anything but County Line? - Page 2

This is one of five, yes five, messages that he has posted since the beginning of the new year: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/members/sparc.html

Judging by those posts, the gentleman appears to be fixated on tractors and their accoutrements. How disappointing that science has to take a back seat to such mundane topics.
