But the "base" extends beyond the triangle. Perhaps what is near but not under the triangle should not be ignored due to our fixation on only the obvious traingle portion of the pattern.

Would this work to see how many pallets are really in the fields? Maybe the total is a negative number, which is why we aren't getting any useful information.

Pallet gun ... Just how big is such a gun? I can imagine it would have to be good sized to accommodate a "9 shot pallet clip"

I have an image of some poor sole facing such an ordeal ... Being shot by a rapid fire 9 shot pallet gun .. Just the thought of a pallet being fired at you from 50' ... I can see the squirrels all lined up on a branch smiling!!

Perhaps the subject gets strapped to the inverted pallets before execution?

Well we know that that type of device will not show up in the state north of New Jersey as they are limited to 7 pallet magazines.
