Would this work to see how many pallets are really in the fields? Maybe the total is a negative number, which is why we aren't getting any useful information.

I have an image of some poor sole facing such an ordeal ... Being shot by a rapid fire 9 shot pallet gun .. Just the thought of a pallet being fired at you from 50' ... I can see the squirrels all lined up on a branch smiling!!

Perhaps the subject gets strapped to the inverted pallets before execution?

Well we know that that type of device will not show up in the state north of New Jersey as they are limited to 7 pallet magazines.
