Brake pedal and brake lock are both on the right side. Hard to do it with the left foot.

Ok. It looks very much like my 1720 setup, works well on that with the left foot. Must be set up slightly different to make it awkward?

I think the extention is a great idea, but my clumsy feet would bust it right off as I mount & dismount the tractor way too mucch. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

My 1988 1720 had a handle on the back side of the plate below the steering wheel and instrument panel. Not sure why NH changed from this basic design. Maybe somoene could look into what parts would be needed for that setup. If was quite convenient.

EXACTLY !! which makes it hard not to see the darn thing to kick it off before moving.
