Parts direct from the facory?

Bill177 - where did you buy your parts manual? Is there an online source that has a decent price?

The dealer I use has been OK so far (I really haven't had to use them much, yet), but they are about 40 miles away, which means ~ $20 gas for a round trip.

Had the manual in three days. It is an excellent resource for disassembly information.

Expensive, perhaps - but it allows me the freedom to select the part(s) I specifically need, see how they go on - and most important ORDER THEM FROM OTHER THAN MY LOCAL DEALER!!!

My dealer has usually the basics , but can get them in 1-2 days and is very helpful, Heinz equip. in Valatie NY, great guy-Trevor. I bought the shop manual and the parts manual to overhaul my transmission , I broke my differential and it was a piece of cake with the shop manual and parts manual. I just called my guy up and gave him the numbers and he had them in 2 days. some the next day. You can get hooked up thru your dealer to masseys website for parts, just ask your dealer to set you up. I am in the process w/ mine.
