I agree with the general theme of this thread - I needed a hydrualic implement pump for a 3215HST - took about 2 weeks for it to show up. The normal lead time was 4 days. Was told the same thing, that the warehouse had moved. My local dealer did a good job pushing the warehouse to get it in. Overall, I was very pleased with my local dealer.

A a higher level, I can say that I was disapponted with Mahindra. I mean, if you're in the business to sell parts, and you can't find the parts, then you've got a fundamental problem. What's worse, is that you can't expect the general consumer to be accepting of the issue, right? Not the kind of performance I would expect from a winner of the Demming Prize. Regardless, I hope that Mahindra will do some kind of "lessons learned" and be better in the long run.

All good points. In a perfect world, they would have doubled the parts staff and doubled the parts in inventory and ran both new and old warehouses at the same time seamlessly until the new one was up to speed, then closed the old one. But that would require hiring and training a bunch of temp staff and investing millions of $$ extra in parts, etc. There really is no good way to do this without spending massive $$'s, but you can be certain in looking back over what they have done during the transition of warehouses they have some regrets, some things could have been done better. They did hire a brand new parts muckety-muck who I have met and they guy is just excited about parts and has tons of experience.

In summary, before the move Mahindra was doing great with parts. With the new warehouse and the new parts manager, it can only get batter. If you have had a bad experience, please give them another chance and accept our apologies.
