You must of checked my homepage!

Nice to know that there are neighbors here!

I will take your advice, thank you!

And thinking about it, I hope my life isn't that sad that I get excited that someone on this forum lives near me /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

What I'm thinking about doing is asking him to help me build a new "stall" in the middle of the pasture. Only thing that irritated me in the past was that if he had a sick cow he brought them up to the old horse stall by the house. As mentioned, he would have to drive on our lawn to get to it which really bugged my wife.

We have two enterences onto the property, one a private drive to the house, the other from the road down from our driveway about 500 yards.

Thanks to all about the input on insurance. I will need to check on that, something I never thought of.

Thanks for all the replies. Given me something to think about.

Sigarms,

.... and thanks for reminding me of the favorite dog I ever had: part Aussie and part Beagle.

You have one of the best!

If he is brushhogging the farm once a year and his cattle grazing will help keep your propery looking good and save you the trouble of mowing it. The guy might make you a good deal on a beef and help you out if you ever needed help.

Sigarms,
Looks like we are getting several people from NC on TBN. May have to have a meeting. Several in the western part, several in the eastern part, and you in the middle.

Looks like your the host /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I agree with you 100%.

I guess I think it would be nice if he asked if I needed any help /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm not trying to make any money out of this "relationship", only hopeing (sp?) that it will not cost me money and all the labor on my end.

Well, I'm about 2 1/2 hours east of Asheville and less than 2 hours west of Durham and close to 4.25 hours west of Wilmington.

Wife is a great cook and have more room than we know what do with per the house.

Also about an hour and a half south of Wythfiled (sp?) Va. For the southern Va. people and about 2 hours north of Rock Hill for the S.C people (time dependent on traffic in Charlotte of course /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif).

Anyone is welcome! /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I am about 1 hour east of Asheville. Spend 2-3 days a week traveling. In the next couple of weeks I will be in Winston, Greensboro, and Haw River...lunch??

By the way since you mentioned TN. I was in Sweetwater, TN yesterday, beautiful country!

Hour east of Asheville should put you around the Hickory area?

I now commute 56 miles each day to Greensboro, transfered (sp?) out of our Winston office last year and pretty familiar with Winston, Greensboro and Statesville and Hickory (particularly the restaurants off of exit 25 in Hickory /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif).

I pretty much make up my own schedule, let me know when your traveling through.

My daughter lives in Hendersonville, just south of Asheville, I'll be there the end of April........

What a beautiful part of the country that is!
