I have a TnT on my B series with the Pat's and have never seen an issue with stressing pins, I regularly use the tilt feature on my rear blade (std pin) and box blade (double shear through pin) with no issue. No, the QH is held on with 3 pins, just like an attachment, the lower link balls can swivel inside the QH frame. It is not bolted solidly to the lift arms. You can get a 7/8" dowel rod, cut it in half and fix it to each of pats qh. Raise and lower the lift arms and the alignment changes. You probably flexed the pats spreader bar and broke one end off.
I scrapped my pats setup, didn't like the stresses it was putting on implement pins. If implement pin breaks could be major damage to implement (bent or broken parts). Just the way I see it. Setup originally on BX2370.
There is a decent amount of travel available with Pat's for verticle movement due to how the locks are made, there shouldn't be any movement in-out, which is where it could possibly bind a little.
I switched from a frame style QH to the Pat's a few years ago so I wouldn't have to take off the QH to use the post hole auger and a few other attachments that were just a little off on size. I will not be getting rid of the Pat's, and yes I have looked at the euro style but the cost is not worth the small benefit it might give me.
I am planning on making a spring loaded spreader setup for the Pat's so I don't have to take off the spreader bar.
