Pats. Why bent washers?

The bar was optional.

When I bought mine it wasn't even offered or if it was it wasn't advertised, this would have been in 2006.

I bent a pile of them myself , i have 7 or 8 sets , i also welded much bigger washers to them on the inside, Makes it even easier to hook up, I had my pto spreader bounce off one side once when it was empty, The larger washer helps prevent that, Love my pats,

have had pats for 5yrs. tried the spreader bar and that didnt work. everything was different widths. washers... havnt a need for them sofar.

Man!! At that price I could easily bend and drill a whole lot of standard washers.

I have seen where poeple measure each implement and mark the spreader bar for each then just adjust it when you change implements, I used mine for a while then decided i did not need it, Most of my implements are very close to the same width i can do without.
