(PC crash) lost all my Kubota L35 parts manual data

Files deleted from a hard drive are not really deleted (at least when using windows), it renames the file in the catalog by replacing the first letter with an "_".

But these files can and will be overwritten eventually..

The best move I've even made was to find an old computer (~300MHz Pentium II) and install FREENAS on it and slap a few hard drives in it. I bought 3 1TB drives and put them in a RAID5 configuration which allows any one HD to fail without losing any data.

All three of my families computers (and my cell phone) run back up software to the NAS box so there will not be any lost files if any HD in the house crashes. I also store all my movies etc on the NAS box so they can be accessed by any computer/tv in the house and I don't have to worry about losing any of them.

A $240 investment.

That's the site I originally found the manuals on.. but they disappeared shortly after I downloaded them. Great idea.

Thanks for the kind offer Chris.. but thanks to DRD I have them all, he beat you to it.
This time I immediately saved the 3 manuals to a dvd and saved them to another hard drive. You guys are great..thanks

i wonder why they were removed from Kubotabooks.com? The manuals were there when yours were lost because I looked.
