I once bought a set of pc speakers for $5.00 (full RETAIL /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif) at CompUSA. Figured, see what they do, and they sounded fine & dandy blah blah blah.

Well, I've been getting a hankering to replacing them, ok, actually, they quit on me (imagine that!!)

Sooooooooooo

If anyone is going to get some new PC speakers to replace theirs, or as new purchase...

One word

Klipsch!!

I just bought the Pro-media 2.1 system ($150 / BestBuy) because I could not utilize the 5.1 system in my room setup.

Plugged them in and WOW!!!

The way the 2.1's sound, I'm MOST intrigued as to how the 5.1's would sound, however, I simply can't use them, nor do I have a 5.1 soundcard /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I just wanted to mention to anyone in the market for some that they will CRANK and sound GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I should probably put disclaimer in, that I am by nature, a Klipsch fan. Other than being a Klipsch owner (prior to this purchase) I have no ties to them, just a 20+ year happy owner and now, a happy pc speaker owner!

They DO sound good!!

Sorry that this post isn't tractor related...unless of course, someone had a TV feed into their pc and happened to watch the RFD channel and heard a tractor over their new speakers??? /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
