Peach Trees

What's a great place to purchase some hardy peach trees?

I forget where we got ours, I will have to ask my wife, but the variety is called Reliant. It is hardy to zone 4 although with the wacky climate we have now who knows.

It’s too cold here for peaches, but my apple and pear trees are from them doing fine.

My father raised them for 40 years, and they were some good. :licking: We had them canned and frozen, as well as fresh. Occasionally we'd have a bad winter and he'd need to start over.
Last summer my mother told me to cut his last two trees down so that we didn't have to mow around them; saying that they didn't produce anyways. Everytime I was down I "don't have time but will do it next trip"... then one day she called and said not to because the trees were loaded and she couldn't pick them fast enough.

You have to prune them every year less branches more fruit on the other branches I try to, but no this year to warm to soon its a pain to do but it works

Reliance are good peaches here in the North East,

Fedco ordering stopped a month ago, so he'd need to wait until 2021 before ordering.
I have trees ordered from there and usually pick them up at the tree sale; but just got an email stating that due to CV-19 they will be shipping instead, and tacking those charges onto my bill.
I understand but it's still a PITA, the only reason that I placed an order was to go to the early tree sale.
