...400lbs lift capacity.
Just to let you know, my machine is 'rated' at 460#, but I regularly haul 8 80# bags of salt from my truck to my basement for my water softener. That's 640# and I can lift it, curl it, and drive it around without any troubles.

what would a low hour 1500 be worth with MMM.....or with FEL & MMM?

Thanks,
Jeff

I have 5250 in this 2003 which includes MMM.
The 5250 does not incude the new tiller and front blade shown.
It had 382 hours when i got it.
Not bad for a tractor that was 4 years old.

I'd estamate about 1200 to 1500 more for a FEL;or about half the cost of new for a used one.

What sort of prices did you get on the 2 BX1500s?

The rated lift is far lower than what it can actually lift. Here's why: suppose your nephew from the city came to visit. Your FEL was fully loaded and he decides to joy ride the tractor perpendicular to and across the furrows in your field. The bouncing with the weight creates perfect sine wave harmonics and the g-forces rip your hydraulics to pieces.

The rated lift is what you can lift and transport with some bouncing and not mess up your hydraulics. If you lift to max. capacity and then abuse the tractor, damaging the hydraulics, Kubota can say that you voided the warranty by exceeding the specs.

In reality, as long as you don't abuse the tractor, you can lift and transport much more with the manual lists, without much worry.

This afternoon (Monday, 6 April) I contacted the man through whom I arranged for warranty upgrade of HST linkage for my BX2350. I asked for part numbers for individual items, or a part number for all of the assembles pieces in kit form (if such exists). When I get that Information I will post it to this forum.

Perhaps I ought to start a separate thread when I get this information. Suggestions welcome.

Doug

BX2350, FEL, 54" MMM, Markham tooth bar, Kodiak 5' landscape rake, BushHog 48" 3ph tiller, Loftness 48" 3ph snow thrower, Redland Hills Handi-Hitch.

Update on Kubota pricing...

It appears that the plant manager "himself" was to offer his sub-contractors discount pricing. But, Barlows price was better than the plant manager's offering.

One of the BX1500's with MMM that I found was very clean, but he wants $6500 which seems a bit high.....under 100 hrs though. Isn't $6500 still a little high LBrown?

What year is it and what size is the MMM?

Can someone please advise me if a BX2350 would be suitable for using on a home woodlot? doing some road work with either a box or a tipping trailer? Is anyone using their's for similar use and do they have a grapple on the FEL? Some pics would be great

TIA

From everything I have read, a BX??00 is a safe bet.
My BX2200 has smooth lift performance. My BX2200 has smooth hydro performance. My BX2200 has a suspended MMM, so it is easier on the mower, and easier on the grass. My BX2200 has almost no plastic.

Why does the BX??00 tractor have such smooth hydraulic performance? It's simple, really. It has the most advanced hydraulic control system ever created to date: a multi-axis servo controlled actuator system with two manipulator arms and two manipulator legs controlled by a neural network based organic computer complete with a learning algorithm, a vision system, and acceleration feedback sensors that has never been bested.

When this management system, which I will call the "operator" tries to control:
1)a SINGLE rocker pedal for forward and reverse
2)a simple lift control with few linkages, which are tight and direct
the learning algorithm of the "operator" quickly calculates actuator movements that will make the BX??00 operate much more smoothly that Kubota's more "advanced" tractors.

If my memory serves me correctly....the nice 1500D I looked at had a 54" MMM and is a 2005 model as advertised. What does the "D" stand for/or mean anyway?

Probably Diesel but I believe all BX's are diesel.
