Reminds me of when I was in the police recruit class some 44 years ago and the chaplain asked the class how many of them wanted to be motorcycle officers. Of course 3 or 4 raised their hands, and the chaplain said, "I always get to know the motor jockeys better than the other officers because I visit them in the hospital all the time."

And he thought HD stood for Harley Davidson. Silly him, it stands for High Dollar. Probably two of the most expensive letters around.

Guess that's why I sell alot of Amsoil 20w50 mc oil to my HD friends

What kind of Perkins engine do you have. Reason I ask is I cannot get my A3.152 started and have tried almost everything. Have posted the whole story in the Massey Ferguson section.

Is the thermostart plugged?? Is it in a 135?? From what I was told, they have a strainer in the fuel tank.

Volkswagen and Volvo recommend it for the 2.5 TDI in my 850... these engines are quite sensitive to it. They recommend a fully synthetic 0w/40 in these engines (as well as the V10 TDI used in the Touareg, which is two 2.5's bolted together) but the 1.9-2.8-3.2 and 4 liter Diesels can use a standard oil... dunno why
