I was working and didn't see it but my wife called me and told me that they were calling Bush a coward because he wasn't back at Washington yet and had flown to Louisianna and then to a bunker in NE.

Have you ever noticed that the media always wants to get the details about obviously privey information? Anyone in their right mind knows that releasing important information can ruin the best of plans, put people in harms way or cause panic. That is why it's kept secret. Yet the media still feels they (or we the viewers) are entitled to it and when it's withheld, they draw their own conclusions.

Same goes for news helicopters. Awhile back in Portland, a couple police officers were shot dead when the helicopters were showing police storming a house. The bad guy knew right where they were hiding because he was watching them live on TV.

Well, I don't have solid proof, but a fair number of ya'll said you heard it yourself. I'm having trouble convincing my wife to turn the TV off and get on with her life. She's gotten all wrapped up in the sensationalism of if all, listening to the detailed reports of how people suffered and died, etc. I tried to tell her that she's playing right into the terrorists hand, but she won't listen to me. The networks are certainly doing their part (as usual) to make a bad situation worse. I'm sure whoever did this is laughing his guts out watching our "national news" reports.

pdxman, Yup, I saw a report once where the local news was filming a guy as he walked down a hallway and got into an elevator. The guy was a victim, I don't remember what happened to him, and he said he didn't want to be interviewed or on film. The reporter stated that "... does not want to be on camera" AS THEY FILMED HIM WALKING INTO THE ELEVATOR!

That should never be tolorated with the President of the United States. Whether you like who is currently in office or not you do NOT disrespect the office.
