An 'act-of-God' caused a vertically stacked pile of cord wood to fall over during high winds (dead tree) and take down the phone line. It was not the responsibility of the phone company. However...the first repairman came out and laid down some above ground temporary wire. He promised me there'd be a crew out within the month to bury the said cable. Well they were out in the time frame. And they didn't bury it where the stakes were. They ran a different path that was better. They buried probably 300 feet in less than ten minutes. And they, as well as the original repairman, had great attitudes and fine manners. Can't speak highly enough of them. Sometimes were lucky and don't have the $holes mentioned earlier.
