EDIT #2 :: Another view I would like to see is a straight on view of the tractor & loader from the front. I've noticed that some brands have cross brace on the loader that is ABOVE the top lip of the bucket so that when the bucket is raised off the ground more than maybe a few inches the cross brace blocks the headlights. Other brands have a cross brace that is at or below the level of the upper lip of the bucket so the headlamps are not blocked as easily. It is a small difference, but one that makes a world of difference at NIGHT . . .

Attached is a photo showing the front of a NH TC24D and a Kubota B2910. Notice how the headlamps on both are not going to be blocked by the cross brace for the FEL until the bucket itself is high enough to block the headlamps.

Bob, you mean NH does not come standard with a grille gaurd? /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif I should get a shot of our NH 2120 and what happens without a grille guard. You think you can stop in time when a log or branch comes along but even with the few thousand hours I have, you simply cannot. Do yourself a favor and get a grille guard.

Nope, the grill guard is optional. The TC24 does more landscaping type work the B2910 does more of the construction type work on the property so far there is not even a little dent or dimple on the mesh grill of the NH, very likely because it is more of a maintainence machine. Now there is a whopper of a dent in the hood of the Kubota! /forums/images/graemlins/mad.gif

See what I mean, it's tuff to keep an eye on things and drive the tractor too. I "intend" to get around to adding even more protection to the rather stout grille guard that comes standard on my Kubota LA 723 loader, but then, I know how those roundtuits work. Theres just way to much fragile stuff up there that when considering the tractors ability to go forward and the size of the junk it can move to leave that area unprotected. It only makes sense to leave the light duty stuff to a NH and the heavy stuff to a Kubota. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

PS. think that last comment can add a little excitement around here? /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

( It bugs the heck out of me that a company as large as John Deere can't even put a descent picture of their products on the web. They do for the ATV's they sell, but not tractors. They've got a goofy almost thumbnail size picture of the 4x20 series and that's it! )

Ain't that the truth pz.
The website gets your interest worked up to a froth, and then visit the dealer who either has nothing under 70HP, or they have one basic 790 and that's it. (If you want to see all models of something, it better be trimmers, chain saws, or walk-behind mowers)

Deere isn't the only one with poor & few photos. They all do in my opinion. And forget it if you want to see attachments. Such as, for example, same box blade pic for half-a-dozen models.
