Here is a link: http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/.../94371-kmw-loaders.html?highlight=kmw+loaders

Someday you'll figure out how to post those all by yourself ;)

Actually...it's funny you say that...because I came back by here on my way to find a link to post for someone else. The thought never crossed my mind to post the link. Dunno why, but it didn't....

On another note, you won't really find anything on Great Bend loaders any more. After Bush Hog bought them and moved production to Tennessee, the name has almost disappeared.

The bucket is a 'light' duty bucket without welded reinforcement on the sides or the top lip.

I have a question, if the flat strap welded on the leading edge of the sides of a Montana light duty bucket does not count as a heaver than a light duty bucket, then how big does the reinforcement need to be to be considered beefed up?

Should this bucket not be considered a std duty bucket?

Good question. Before this project was started I contacted about a dozen other long time members of TBN and a few moderators. We came up with a list of criteria that we all agreed would provide a level of objective criteria.

A light duty bucket was a bucket that did not have a reinforced upper lip (welded round or square tube) or full length/height welded side reinforcements. Basically it was a steel scoop with a cutting edge, typically welded but sometimes bolted, to the bottom edge.

A standard duty bucket was a bucket that had EITHER a welded reinforced top lip OR welded reinforced sides.

A heavy duty bucket is a bucket that has BOTH a welded reinforced top lip AND welded reinforced sides.

So based on this criteria, then yes, I did make a mistake and the bucket should have been categorized as a Standard Duty bucket. When I resurected the thread and began posting new photos I should have probably refreshed my memory by reposting the criteria.
