My bucket does not have this. It is my understanding that the new Century/Zetor models with the C-50HL loader do have skid-steer type QD.

It does have a QD system, but it is Century proprietary. I have the bucket and a bale spear for my loader. Very easy to use, but not standard in any way. There are weld-on blanks available for this sytem.

This thread was started about 2 years ago and I figured it was time to update it.

Here are some Montana tractor photos. The hoses are protected based on the initial criteria set. Hand movement to control the FEL lever is horizontal. The bucket is a 'light' duty bucket without welded reinforcement on the sides or the top lip. The bucket is an "C" shaped bucket with plenty of carrying capacity. The tractor is a one sided entry when the loader is installed because the bracket blocks entry/exit to the right side of the tractor, this has a "loader mounted" control valve placement. Below are the photos:
BTW, there are a lot of new tractors/loaders on the market! Please add your own photos. . . and please use the established definitions for comparisions. You can go to the first post in this thread to see the criteria. If your tractor is not pictured in the thread, please add some photos.

The lovely Mrs_Bob left for a week to visit the inlaws and as is my tradition, equipment usually ends up in my driveway while she is out of town. So I spent a good deal of time on dealer lots poking around and took a lot of photos.

I thought I would post the photos to let everyone see how different and still how similar tractors really are. No real editorial here folks. Just photos with some objective descriptions. I also, via PM, invited several other TBN members to photograph their tractors and post the pictures in this thread. All the pictures will show similar areas of the tractors. Bucket, loader area, operators station. ALL OF THE TRACTORS ARE ROUGHLY 30HP. NONE ARE BELOW 27, NONE ARE ABOVE 35.

BUCKETS will be described by SHAPE and by DUTY RATING.
Generally buckets are either "C" shaped or "L" shaped. "C" shaped buckets have a large top piece that is at least 6" deep. "L" shaped buckets generally look like a triangle or the capital letter "L"

BUCKET DUTY RATINGS will be described as LIGHT, STANDARD or HEAVY. LIGHT is defined as reinforced ONLY on the bottom cutting edge. STANDARD is defined as reinforced on EITHER the TOP or the SIDE (but not both) in addition to the bottom. HEAVY DUTY will be described as reinforced on the BOTTOM, the SIDES and the TOP. Reinforcement is defined as extra steel tubes (round or square) or 2 layers of steel plate welded in place, folds and dimples do not count as reinforcement for this definition.

FEL valve/hoses areas will be described in the following manner. The hoses, if they extend ABOVE the hood of the tractor & above the loader arm, will be described as UNPROTECTED. If they are below the hood & loader arm, they are PROTECTED. Operating valves can either be LOADER MOUNTED or FENDER MOUNTED. Operating the lever itself will be described as requiring a HORIZONTAL movement of your arm or a VERTICAL movement.

RIGHT SIDE photos of the operator's station will show the relative position of the loader valve and will show if the tractor can be entered and exited from both the right and the left side of the tractor or if the levers, valves, etc block right side access.

I had other pictures, but honestly could not figure out how to be totally objective so I am only sticking with 4 pictures per tractor.

Attached is Picture #1, it is the bucket detail of a New Holland TC35.
The bucket is a "C" shaped bucket.
The bucket is a "heavy duty" bucket since is has extra side plating and a steel tube welded under the top lip of the bucket.

Uh-Oh...Is the Lovely Mrs. Bob out of town again??? Will there be a new piece of equipment on the Skurka homestead in the very near future??:D

Actually no new tractors. But I did buy a 1967 Jeepster Deluxe Convertible that I'll be partially restoring/upgrading this spring for summer fun (after I finish recovering from foot surgery) :)

---------Now back to the regularly scheduled thread----------

Here are some John Deere 3000 series tractor photos. The hoses are protected, they are mounted low at the base of the loader bracket and tight agains the tractor hood. The loader control is fender mounted, it has horizontal movement control. The bucket is a high capacity "C" shaped bucket that qualifies as a medium or 'standard' duty bucket. The tractor has plenty of room for entry and exit from both sides.

Great post Bob and thanks for the photos. I was wondering if you or anyone had any photos of 2nd line company front end loaders? I would like to see some photos and discussion on Bush Hog, Woods, Westendorf, Great Bend, Koyker, ect. This is a great resource. Many thanks.

Sorry, I don't have that, but hopefully some TBN members here will post some photos of their own equipment with aftermarket loaders attached.

Here is a loader that I like. This is a Deutz-Fahr which has a design that is styled more like an industrial loader with a steeply sloped loader cross-member. I don't have a full set of photos, this photo was sent to me by a friend. While this thread is mainly about 20 to 35hp tractors with loaders, this tractor is a bit bigger than most in this thread (40hp).

You will notice the valve is loader mounted. The valve control is set at a roughly 45 degree angle. The tractor is accessable from both sides as the loader valve does not block access to/from the operators platform. You will also notice the loader control handle is mounted fairly high, many tractor have the "ball" of the handle mounted at roughly the height of the steering wheel, this one is clearly mounted above the height of the steering wheel. The loader hoses are "protected" and the bucket appears to be a standard duty bucket by our definitions. The bucket is an "L" shaped bucket.

I don't have any close ups, but you can see more of our own line of loaders in the Ag section. I posted a pic from our rep meeting. I think the thread was called KMW Loaders. Pic does not meet the criteria of Bob's original thread, but there are more loaders out there....
