Mine is only 24 x 32, but it has a separate door on the side for the tractor. :)
Now I need to decide to either build a house on the property that has the garage or build a garage on the property that has the house! Too bad they are 50 miles apart!

Here is my 30 x 60. Currently working on a 30 x 16 inside on the back wall for additional storage. Just finished in August.

Here's a 24 X 36 with vinyl siding and 10' doors so you need not worry about ROPS.

After due deliberation the judges have rendered their ruling:

While all of the displayed garages are fine examples of enclosed structures that do their owners proud, the most aesthetically pleasing are those with gable roofs, especially with significant overhang at the eaves.

Special mention and nomination for inclusion as a Christmas card photo grouping candidate is the gable roof sample in the snow setting (detached, not my attached garage shown in the attached picture.)

If it isn't too late for inclusion, here is the attached garage of my current house. the garage is the part with the last dormer to the left and three doors in the end. The short doors are 8 ft and the tall one in the middle is 14 ft to clear anything that is interstate legal (13'6".) This is 36 by 48 and has a 21 by 48 shed on the side (to left in picture.) The snow was from a previous winter. Night before last the overnight low was in 60's. I have had one light frost this year due to dew and clear sky. No snow in sight, yet.

Pat

Scotty,
I was once where you are. With helpful neighbors we completed my 30 x 60 in about 14 months. All my wife had to do was feed them, and of course plenty of beer ;-) Seemed longer since we could only work on it two Saturdays a month (with hunting, boating, vacations, etc). Are you pricing LaValleys? I have found them high in the past (at least the W. Lebanon and Claremont locations). Hang in there. BTW-we are from Windsor originally-now in VA.

Mornin David,
Yep I have gone over to LaValleys and done some pricing. The nice thing is that they come over the weekend before the building goes up and pour the concrete slab. Then the following week come over with a crew and crane and build the garage/barn. Im only a part time resident in Vt so it would work out best for me because I dont have time to put up a building on the weekends that Im there ! If I was there all the time I would try and tackle it myself.

Thanks for jumping in here with your experiences !:) How much beer ? :)
