I don't mean to sound ignorant, but I am lol what is the purpose of the leveling bar? I'm new to the whole tractor realm.
So you can more easily see, from the seat, if the bottom of your bucket is parallel to the ground.I don't mean to sound ignorant, but I am lol what is the purpose of the leveling bar? I'm new to the whole tractor realm.
The washer goes on the top right? After reassembling I still find mine a little short when the bucket is level.Hi, I had the same problem with my leveling device. The first time the rod came loose I replaced it, after straightening, but failed to notice a small spacer/washer that got away on me and didn't replace it when I reassembled the level indicator. For a year I farted around with blue locktite, then red plus lock washers all to no avail, it kept comming loose. Finally Dave from Bromley Farm was here on another matter and I pointed this out to him and it was fixed in minutes. He even manufactured the spacer on the spot from a hex nut which he ground down on my grinder!! He pointed out that missing the spacer turned the arm into a rachet that constantly turned the nut outward. It would never stay tight without the spacer. I use the device all the time when plowing snow. I find it invaluable.
