Thanks guys!
Garage is a new addon last year. Was nice and clean until we moved in and all the leftover electrical material (electrical contractor here) ended up in there

Tube is 1.5 or 2" Home Depot steel.

This is what the garage should look like once I get it cleared out again

Oh my goodness, that's the cleanest shop I've ever seen! After I poured a new slab of concrete in my shop, I was super **** about it. After a motor swap, and a few other projects.... well it doesn't look like it did. Still clean and kept, but I'm not afraid to work on it anymore.

Holy smokes!, that's cleaner than my living room!

I'm planning on starting the build on my canopy, that will eventually be a cab,
Thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

Chris

I would design the cab & canopy together. The lower portion of the cab (where it meets the tractor) will somewhat dictate the size the canopy needs to be. Your tractor has nice angular fenders to work off of. Mine are round
I just bought a 4x8 (1/8) sheet of metal, about $90. That might be big enough for your top to avoid any seams. 5' sheets are available but I think they start at 10' length. Find a local metal fab shop that has a shear & a press brake. A few strategic bends and a "cross crease" across the top will help with vibrations resonating through your top along with some rubber isolaters along with a more "store bought" look.
You've read my canopy post before and there no step by step details but here's the link http://www.tractorbynet.com/forums/build-yourself/301883-my-brother-says-im-pimpin.html

I would like to change my oils in your garage to break it in.

Thanks for the insight. I really love what you did with your canopy! At this point, that's kind of what I'm leaning towards design wise. You were my inspiration! Ha ha

Thanks for the link. That was a great read! He did a heck of a job, and I'll definitely reference that if/when I do a full cab build. Much appreciated!

The added front supports were powder coated to match the rest of the canopy. I have since put on a vinyl topper to keep the sun off my head. The whole unit is now steady.

Absolutely beautiful , tractor and garage . Hard to tell and you are obviously no fool , but how do you get the tractor through the door ?

Thanks Kevin.
The garage doors are 8'. I have about 8" of clearance between the door header and the roof. Garage ceiling is 9' with no door opener track in the center as it is mounted on the shaft. (Liftmaster 8000 series) You can see the door opener on the top corner of the door.
