My barns. Pole barn was built in 1981. 30X40X10 high. Gambled roof barn was built in the 50's. 20X40. Other than roof coating and painting all is original. Both buildings have concrete floors. Both buildings lean too's on back side for equipment storage.

Pad in front of barn is for our motorhome. Sold it. But Son keeps his travel trailer on it now.

That looks like one that could absorb a lot of paint.

Sometimes you'd brush a single spot for 10 minutes, sometimes it'd cover pretty easy. Took 5 days with up to 8 people working on it (at times was just one).

Tedious, but I find brush is the best way to assess "consumption" on weathered outdoor wood..... though my personal best so far was a little less than 10 gallons.....

The colour....... I couldn't place it for a while, then it came to me..... a Mediterranean restaurant that I only get to once in a long while has pickled turnip that colour !

Some would say both are an acquired taste, but I like both ! :thumbsup:

If your barn is road-visible, you have an advantage, when directing first-time arrivals to the homestead !

OK, there I go again..... jumping to conclusions ^, w/o ever being down your way..... common colour in WV ?
