Well, on my 8N, it took me about 3 months to get it where it is. Much of that time was learning curve... Me finding a problem.. looking it up in the repair manual.. scratching my head, email this and other boards.. getting the answer.. then fixing it. Luckilly some of that info stuck!
This unit needed less mechanical repairs and 'send outs'.. I.e... I didn't have to send the genny out for repair, or wait to have a steering shaft fixed.. or wait to find rims and after market parts... or where to find the parts. This time, i new the vendors to call.. and what to do, or at least who to ask anyway. Learned what does and what doesn't work right out of the box... for instance.. those steering draglink end grease seals have to be hand fitted with a file in order to get on .. took me an hour to figure that out the first time....
Again.. lots of help came from this and other boards.. so i gotta say 'thanks' to all.
