Thanks guys. I have been enjoying it so far. I bought a used finish mower for it this weekend and tried that out. I have about 4 acres to mow. I was able to mow in high range a lot until I got around the trees, then I had to slow it down a little.

My wife got to use the red "toy" to pull me and the white one out of the hole Sunday. After about 3' deep my soil is sandy and after the rain Saturday night it was a little soupy. One I was in, there was no getting out. The hole is about 6' deep so far and the grade back up was too steep and slick. I thought I could use the bucket to get me out but the sand kept sucking me back in as soon as I tried to lift the bucket to reposition.

She thought it was funny and took a couple of pics so I will post one maybe tonight.

What size finish mower do you have? I found a good deal on a 230 but I've been holding out for a 235 for the extra hp. Maybe I don't need it

I got a good deal on a 72" used one but the salesman at Bobcat said the 230 was rated for up to 84".

I mow my grass about 3" tall and as I mentioned above, I was able to mow in high gear in the open spots and my grass is as thick this year as I have seen it.

Nice!! Sounds like your bobcat does a great job and does it fast It takes me forever to mow 5.5 acres with a 60" deck.
