Truck on one side, tractor on the other. Should probably get up and shovel the roof.

"Baby" stays on my back porch ... right next to my command and control center. A "complex" is ... too complex for me :)

Milkman, What size is your building and what company manufactures it? Did the $2300 include the labor to construct the building, What size door do you have?

Piperflyer,

That picture of your tractor in the snow is just wrong. It hurt just looking at it. I wanna ask how cold it was, but it really doesn't matter the number, there's no way I can understand what it must be like to run around on an open cab outside in that stuff.

Your making me wish for my 100 degree summers with 90% humidity!!!

YIKES!!!

The first pic is where I wish my Toolcat, Ranger, and implements were stored, the second is actually where they are stored ;). Sandi's barn is 36x60 and my open-front shed is 10x40, but it does have a 10x10 enclosed room that used to be her tack room. It's raining and cold so I used my weather cam to take the pics from the front porch. You can only see the back of the 10x10, the front side is open. It stays pretty dry inside because the prevailing wind is from the south back side.

Eddie,
The cold is not near as bad as you think. If you live in the North East or in other cold country your blood thickens. I frequently go out doors for short periods of time in just a tee shirt and light sweater when it is in the teens, as long as there is no wind. When I use my snow blower on my 300 foot driveway I have to be careful not to over dress or I get soaked in sweat and catch a chill. Carhart coveralls, a hooded sweat shirt and gloves and I am good to go in any temp above zero as long as I am moving and working. When the wind is blowing and the snow is falling hard I put on my Gortex rain outfit so I don't get damp from the snow melting on my clothes. The cold snow blowing on my face is refreshing.
I have adjusted real well after living for 40 some years in Northern California and back to Mid Michigan for the past 6 years.
I like the cold and snow but the snow they are having in New York is something I never want to experience. Some areas have around 10 feet.

Remember here in Upstate NY when we get all this snow, we have the equipment to move it. Within a day or two things are back to normal & we are ready for our next storm. We are use to getting snow and having cold weather. This past week hasn't been as bad as the media makes it up to be. Remember they need something to write about.
